It is typically taken several times a day with meals.
It is important to take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor and not to skip doses or change the dosage without talking to your doctor first.

Darkening of urine and sweat.
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it can interact with levodopa/carbidopa and worsen side effects.
Levodopa/carbidopa can cause drowsiness and dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery if you are feeling drowsy or dizzy.
It is not recommended to use levodopa/carbidopa during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice on alternative treatment options.
Levodopa/carbidopa is not typically prescribed for children.
