Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) used to treat depression, anxiety, and nerve pain.

Treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve pain) in adults, such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia (pain after shingles), and fibromyalgia.

Treatment of seizures in adults with partial seizures.

Offlabel use for migraines and other conditions.

Gabapentin works by blocking the release of certain neurotransmitters, like glutamate, in the brain. Amitriptyline increases the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which helps to improve mood and reduce pain.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your condition and response to treatment.

Typically taken 1-3 times per day with or without food.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.
