Norfloxacin

A fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against a wide range of gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria.

Tinidazole

A nitroimidazole antibiotic effective against various anaerobic bacteria and protozoa.

Treatment of bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (e.g., diarrhea, dysentery caused by susceptible bacteria).

Treatment of infections of the urinary tract (e.g., uncomplicated urinary tract infections) caused by susceptible bacteria.

Treatment of gynecological infections (e.g., bacterial vaginosis) caused by susceptible organisms.

Norfloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing bacterial DNA replication and repair. Tinidazole disrupts the DNA of anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, leading to their death.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage should always be determined by a healthcare professional and varies depending on the infection being treated and the patient's overall health.

Typically administered orally with or without food.

Complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence of infection.

Central Nervous System effects (rare but possible: seizures, hallucinations)
