Lacoset 150mg Tab (Lacosamide) is an anticonvulsant that works by binding to the inactivated state of voltage-gated sodium channels in neurons, thus slowing down the recovery of these channels from inactivation. This leads to a reduction in the repetitive firing of neurons and a decrease in seizure activity.

The usual starting dose is 50 mg twice daily, which may be gradually increased.
