Latanoprost

Latanoprost is a synthetic prostaglandin analog.It is available in various formulations, including eye drops, implants, and injections.

Openangle glaucoma (OAG) to lower intraocular pressure (IOP).

Ocular hypertension (high IOP) to prevent the development of glaucoma.

Lacoma Eye Drops 2.5ml (Latanoprost) increases the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, reducing IOP. It works by relaxing the ciliary muscle and opening the trabecular meshwork.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Dosage and frequency vary depending on the individual and the specific formulation.

Eye drops are typically applied once daily, usually at bedtime.

Eye irritation, redness, itching, and burning.

Changes in eye color (brown pigmentation).
