Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to cefixime, such as ear infections (otitis media), tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and gonorrhea (in certain cases).
Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death. It is effective against a wide range of gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the suspension shows signs of discoloration or spoilage.
