Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide

A cough suppressant that works by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.

Guaifenesin

An expectorant that thins mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up.

Phenylephrine

A decongestant that shrinks swollen blood vessels in the nose, reducing nasal congestion.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical that is released during allergic reactions and can cause symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.

This drug combination works by targeting different aspects of the common cold and allergy symptoms. Dextromethorphan suppresses coughing, guaifenesin thins mucus, phenylephrine relieves nasal congestion, and chlorpheniramine blocks histamine release.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Always follow the directions on the label or as directed by your doctor.

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 2 tablets or capsules every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 8 tablets or capsules in 24 hours.

Children 6-12 years: Take 1 tablet or capsule every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 4 tablets or capsules in 24 hours.

Children under 6 years: Consult a doctor before use.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it can increase drowsiness and other side effects.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you. It can cause drowsiness and may impair your ability to perform these activities safely.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk or can harm a developing fetus.



Children

Children under 6 years old should not take this medication without consulting a doctor.



Kidney

Use with caution in people with kidney problems.



Liver

Use with caution in people with liver problems.
