Ketoconazole

Is an antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungi.

Salicylic Acid

Is a keratolytic agent that helps to remove dead skin cells and reduce inflammation.

Treatment of fungal infections of the skin, such as tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea pedis (athlete's foot).

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, a common skin condition that causes scaly, itchy patches.

Ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the fungal cell wall and leads to fungal cell death. Salicylic Acid helps to remove the outer layer of skin, allowing the ketoconazole to penetrate more effectively.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Apply the medication to the affected area twice daily, as directed by your doctor.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.

Continue using the medication for the full duration prescribed, even if your symptoms improve.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while using this medication, as it can increase the risk of liver damage.
