Coal Tar

Is a thick, black liquid produced by the destructive distillation of coal. it has anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative properties and is used to treat skin conditions like psoriasis.

This drug combination is typically prescribed for the treatment of severe, recalcitrant psoriasis when other treatments have not been effective.

It may be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis as well.

Ketoconazole inhibits the growth of fungus by interfering with the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Coal tar acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative agent, reducing inflammation and the rapid growth of skin cells characteristic of psoriasis.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage and administration of ketoconazole + coal tar will be determined by your doctor based on your specific condition and medical history.

It is typically applied to the affected area of skin once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.
