A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that fights bacterial infections.

Clavulanic Acid

A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from breaking down cefpodoxime proxetil, enhancing its effectiveness against resistant bacteria.

Treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis).

Treatment of bacterial infections of the skin and skin structures (e.g., cellulitis, abscesses).

Cefpodoxime Proxetil inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by bacteria that inactivate cephalosporins, thus extending the spectrum of Cefpodoxime Proxetil's activity.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Typically administered orally, with or without food.

Complete the full course of medication even if you start feeling better, to prevent recurrence of infection.
