Cefepime

Cefepime is a cephalosporin antibiotic.Specific formulations may contain inactive ingredients like sodium chloride, water for injection.

Treatment of serious bacterial infections of the lungs (pneumonia).

Treatment of complicated urinary tract infections.

Treatment of intraabdominal infections.

Treatment of infections in the bloodstream (bacteremia).

Treatment of gynecological infections.

Kefpime Inj 1gm (Cefepime) works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, ultimately leading to bacterial cell death. It is effective against a broad range of Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.

Store Cefepime at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.

Dosage and frequency will be determined by your physician based on the severity of your infection and your individual health condition.

It's usually administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
