Cefixime

A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against various bacteria.

Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to cefixime, such as ear infections (otitis media), respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections (UTIs), and skin infections.

May be used to help prevent or reduce the gastrointestinal side effects (e.g., diarrhea) commonly associated with antibiotic use.

Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Lactobacillus, as a probiotic, helps restore the balance of gut microbiota, potentially reducing the incidence of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and promoting gut health.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused portion after the expiry date.
