Store kanamycin at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of kanamycin varies depending on the severity of the infection, patient's weight, and kidney function.
It is typically administered intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM), and sometimes orally.

Kanamycin is not recommended for children under 12 years old.
