Fenofibrate

A fibric acid derivative that lowers triglyceride levels and raises hdl cholesterol (good cholesterol).

Rosuvastatin

A statin medication that lowers ldl cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and total cholesterol.

Mixed dyslipidemia (high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides)

Hypercholesterolemia (high LDL cholesterol)

Hypertriglyceridemia (high triglyceride levels)

Prevention of cardiovascular events in highrisk patients with established cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors.

Fenofibrate activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα), leading to decreased triglyceride production and increased HDL cholesterol. Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme essential for cholesterol synthesis in the liver, thereby reducing LDL cholesterol production.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

The medication is typically taken orally once daily, usually in the evening with or without food.

Muscle aches (myalgia) or pain (myopathy)

Alcohol Consumption

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. Exercise caution while driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Discuss with your doctor before conceiving or breastfeeding while taking this medication.



Children

Generally not recommended for children, unless under the close supervision of a specialist.



Kidney

May require dosage adjustment in patients with impaired kidney function.



Liver

May require dosage adjustment in patients with impaired liver function; regular liver function tests are crucial.
