Bisacodyl

Bisacodyl is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called stimulant laxatives.

Relief of occasional constipation.

Preparation for colonoscopy or other rectal procedures.

To promote bowel movements in patients with fecal impaction.

Julax 10mg Tab (Bisacodyl) works by stimulating the nerves in the colon, causing the muscles in the bowel to contract and move stool along. This helps to relieve constipation.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It's best to consult your doctor before taking bisacodyl if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Do not give bisacodyl to children without consulting a doctor.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems should consult their doctor before taking bisacodyl.



Liver
