Dapagliflozin

A type of medicine called a sglt2 inhibitor, which works by removing excess sugar from your body through urine.

Vildagliptin

A type of medicine called a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor, which works by increasing the levels of certain hormones that help control blood sugar levels.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.

May be used in combination with other diabetes medications like metformin, insulin, or sulfonylureas.

This combination medication works by targeting two different mechanisms in the body to improve blood sugar control. Dapagliflozin increases sugar excretion in urine, reducing blood sugar levels. Vildagliptin enhances the action of naturally occurring incretin hormones, improving insulin release and decreasing glucose production by the liver.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), in a dry place, away from light and heat. Keep this medicine out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Dapagliflozin and Vildagliptin will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

Typically taken once daily with or without food.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and take the medication as prescribed.

Common side effects include urinary tract infections, yeast infections, increased urination, and headache.

Less common but potentially serious side effects may include low blood sugar, dehydration, kidney problems, and allergic reactions.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for safe alternatives.



Children

This medication is not indicated for use in children.



Kidney

Caution is advised for patients with kidney problems. Your doctor may need to adjust the dosage.



Liver
