Jakavi 5mg Tab (Ruxolitinib) is a selective Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. It works by inhibiting the activity of JAK1 and JAK2 enzymes, which are involved in cytokine signaling pathways that contribute to the pathophysiology of myelofibrosis and GvHD. By blocking these pathways, ruxolitinib reduces inflammation, splenomegaly, and other symptoms associated with these conditions.
Store at controlled room temperature 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Protect from moisture.
Dosage and frequency will be determined by your physician based on your condition and response to treatment.
Typically administered orally, twice daily with or without food.
