This drug formulation combines the properties of its ingredients to achieve its effects. Boric acid and clotrimazole directly combat bacterial and fungal infections, respectively. Lanolin moisturizes and protects the skin, while menthol provides soothing relief. Zinc oxide further protects and soothes the irritated skin, promoting healing.
Store the medication in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiration date.
Apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area as needed, up to four times daily.
Gently massage the medication into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
For diaper rash, apply the medication with each diaper change.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
