A sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor that helps your kidneys remove excess sugar from your blood into your urine.
A biguanide that lowers blood sugar by decreasing glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity.
A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor that increases the levels of incretin hormones, which help your pancreas release more insulin when needed.
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when metformin alone does not provide adequate glycemic control.
May be used in combination with other diabetes medications as directed by your doctor.
This triple combination medication works through three different mechanisms to improve blood sugar control. Dapagliflozin increases glucose excretion in the urine, metformin reduces glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, and sitagliptin enhances insulin release and reduces glucagon secretion.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C) in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Usually taken once daily with or without food.

Limit alcohol intake as it can increase the risk of hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis.
