High blood pressure (hypertension)

Diabetic nephropathy (kidney damage in people with diabetes) to slow the progression of kidney disease.
Irbotan 150mg Tablet (Irbesartan) works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels. By blocking this hormone, irbesartan helps relax blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure.
Store irbesartan at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
The dosage of irbesartan is determined by your doctor and depends on your medical condition.
It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with water.
Headache

Cough
Diarrhea
Muscle cramps
Low blood pressure (hypotension)
Kidney problems
Angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat)
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking irbesartan, as it can increase the risk of low blood pressure.
Irbesartan can cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Irbesartan is not recommended during pregnancy. It can harm the developing baby. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Irbesartan can pass into breast milk and may harm a breastfeeding baby. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding while taking irbesartan.
Irbesartan is not approved for use in children.
Irbesartan can affect kidney function. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function while you are taking this medication.
Irbesartan may not be appropriate for people with severe liver disease.
