Ipratropium Bromide

Is an anticholinergic bronchodilator.

Treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Treatment of bronchospasm associated with reversible obstructive airway disease.

Prevention of bronchospasm induced by exercise or other stimuli.

Ipravent 5x2ml Respules (Ipratropium Bromide) works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that causes bronchoconstriction. By inhibiting acetylcholine's effects, ipratropium bromide relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and severity of the condition.

Commonly administered via inhalation using a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) or nebulizer.
