A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.
An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that blocks the effects of a hormone that narrows blood vessels, helping to lower blood pressure.
High blood pressure (hypertension) when other treatments have not been effective or are not suitable.
May be used alone or in combination with other blood pressure medications.
Inzit Tl 40mg Tab (Benidipine + Telmisartan) works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the amount of hormones that cause blood vessels to narrow. This lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of Benidipine + Telmisartan will vary depending on your individual needs and medical history.
Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you.
It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor.
Common side effects include: headache, dizziness, fatigue, swelling in the ankles or feet.
Less common but serious side effects may include: low blood pressure, cough, muscle pain, kidney problems, liver problems.
Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood pressure. It is advised to limit alcohol consumption while taking Benidipine + Telmisartan.
This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
The safety and effectiveness of this medication in children have not been established.
This medication may affect kidney function. Your doctor may need to monitor your kidney function while you are taking this medication.
