Faropenem Sodium

Faropenem sodium is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of antibiotics called carbapenems.

Treatment of bacterial infections in adults, including:

Community-acquired pneumonia

Complicated skin and skin structure infections

Urinary tract infections

Intra-abdominal infections

Intrapam F 300mg Sr Tab (Faropenem Sodium) works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It does this by interfering with the bacteria's ability to build cell walls.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Dosage and frequency will vary depending on the type of infection being treated.

It is typically administered intravenously (into a vein) over a period of 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Alcohol Consumption

It is generally advised to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Faropenem sodium, as it can increase the risk of side effects.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Kidney
