Cisplatin

Cisplatin is the active ingredient in the medication.It is a platinum-based chemotherapy drug.

It is usually administered intravenously (into a vein) over a period of several hours or days.

It may be given as a single dose or as part of a combination chemotherapy regimen.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Cisplatin is a teratogen and can cause serious harm to a developing fetus. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not recommended for use during breastfeeding, as it can be passed to the infant through breast milk.



Children

Cisplatin is not typically used in children due to its potential for severe side effects.
