Tinidazole: An antibiotic that belongs to the nitroimidazole class of drugs. It fights infections by killing bacteria.
Clotrimazole: An antifungal medication. It works by stopping the growth of fungi.
Treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV), a common vaginal infection caused by an imbalance of bacteria.
Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection), a fungal infection of the vagina.
Tinidazole works by killing bacteria that cause BV, while clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi that cause yeast infections. This combined action helps to clear the infection and restore the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina.
Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage and duration of treatment will be determined by your healthcare provider based on the severity of your infection and your individual needs.
Typically, the medication is administered as a vaginal cream or tablet.

Less common side effects include: headache, nausea, stomach upset, and dizziness.
Common side effects include: vaginal irritation, itching, burning, and discharge.
Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with tinidazole, as it can increase the risk of side effects.
