This topical formulation combines the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of diclofenac and methyl salicylate with the local anesthetic properties of benzyl alcohol and lignocaine to provide rapid pain relief. Linseed oil acts as an emollient, while menthol provides a cooling sensation that further enhances pain relief. The precise mechanism involves inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis (diclofenac, methyl salicylate) and blockade of nerve impulses (lignocaine, benzyl alcohol).
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
Apply a thin layer of the cream or gel to the affected area.
Rub gently until absorbed.
Repeat as needed, up to 3-4 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
