Hypercin 2mg Tab (Terazosin) is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles in the blood vessels, lowering blood pressure, and relaxing the muscles in the prostate, improving urine flow.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage is determined by a physician and varies depending on individual needs and the condition being treated.
It is typically taken once daily, usually at bedtime to minimize potential side effects such as dizziness.

Alcohol can exacerbate the side effects of Terazosin, such as dizziness and lightheadedness. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Terazosin affects you. Dizziness and lightheadedness are common side effects.
Consult your doctor before taking Terazosin if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. The safety of Terazosin during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established.
The use of Terazosin in children is not generally recommended.
Kidney impairment may affect the way Terazosin is eliminated from the body, requiring dose adjustments. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function while you are on this medication.
