Hipres Tab (Atenolol) is a selective beta-1 receptor blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions. This lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart, relieving angina and preventing further cardiac events.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after its expiration date.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your condition and response to treatment.

It's usually taken once or twice daily, orally, with or without food.

Never abruptly stop taking Atenolol; always follow your doctor's instructions for gradual discontinuation to avoid rebound effects.

Do not crush or chew extended-release tablets.

Alcohol Consumption

Atenolol can cause dizziness and fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be considered if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children
