Treatment of primary generalized tonicclonic seizures in adults with epilepsy.
Hetram 6mg Tab (Perampanel) is an anti-epileptic drug that works by enhancing the effects of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a neurotransmitter that inhibits nerve activity in the brain. This helps to reduce the frequency and severity of seizures.
Store perampanel tablets at room temperature, between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
The starting dose of perampanel is usually 2 mg once daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response to the medication.
Take perampanel tablets with or without food, at approximately the same time each day.
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
Do not stop taking perampanel suddenly without talking to your doctor.

Psychiatric problems (e.g., depression, anxiety, aggression)

Liver problems (e.g., elevated liver enzymes)
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking perampanel, as it may increase the risk of side effects.
Perampanel can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and impaired coordination. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Perampanel is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is unknown if perampanel passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking perampanel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Perampanel is not approved for use in children.
Perampanel is not recommended for people with severe kidney disease.
Perampanel is not recommended for people with severe liver disease.
