Halobetasol propionate binds to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators. Salicylic acid softens the stratum corneum, facilitating penetration of the corticosteroid and aiding in the removal of scales and plaques.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Apply a thin film to the affected area once or twice daily.
Duration of treatment should be as short as possible and determined by the physician.
