Fusidic Acid

An antibiotic that fights bacterial infections by preventing bacteria from producing essential proteins.

Halobetasol Propionate

A topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching by suppressing the immune system's response.

Treatment of bacterial skin infections, such as impetigo, folliculitis, and eczema, when complicated by a secondary bacterial infection.

Relief of inflammatory and itchy skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis, when accompanied by a bacterial infection.

This drug combination works by targeting both the bacterial infection and the inflammatory response. Fusidic acid inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, effectively killing the bacteria causing the infection. Halobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid, suppresses the immune system's response, reducing inflammation, itching, and redness associated with the skin condition.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the label.

Apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area twice daily, morning and evening.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication, unless the hands are the affected area.

Do not use the medication for longer than prescribed by your doctor.

Do not cover the treated area with a bandage unless directed by your doctor.

Skin irritation, burning, or stinging at the application site.

Skin thinning.

Stretch marks.

Acne.

Skin discoloration.

Increased risk of skin infections.

Alcohol Consumption

No known interactions with alcohol, but alcohol can dehydrate the skin, potentially worsening the condition.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.



Children
