Halocest 50mg Inj (Haloperidol) is a typical antipsychotic drug that works primarily by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the brain. This action helps to reduce the symptoms of psychosis, such as hallucinations and delusions. It also affects other neurotransmitters to a lesser extent.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage is determined by the physician based on the patient's condition, age, and response to treatment.

It can be administered orally (tablets, solutions), intramuscularly (injection), or intravenously (injection).

Extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS) such as tremor, rigidity, akathisia (restlessness), and tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements).

Orthostatic hypotension (drop in blood pressure upon standing).
