Halobid 20mg Tab (Haloperidol) is a butyrophenone neuroleptic (antipsychotic) drug. It primarily works by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the brain. This dopamine antagonism helps reduce the positive symptoms of psychosis, such as hallucinations and delusions.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication as per your pharmacist's or physician's instructions.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your condition, age, and response to treatment.
It can be administered orally (tablets, solutions), intramuscularly (injection), or intravenously (injection).
