Haldol 5mg Tab (Haloperidol) is an antipsychotic medication that works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain. By reducing dopamine activity, haloperidol helps to control the symptoms of psychosis, such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking.
Store haloperidol at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
The dosage of haloperidol varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient's needs.
It is usually taken by mouth, but it can also be given by injection.
Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and administration schedule for you.
Extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS), such as muscle stiffness, tremors, and involuntary movements
