Paclitaxel

Paclitaxel is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a type of chemotherapy drug called a taxane.Paclitaxel works by stopping the growth of cancer cells.

Paclitaxel is used to treat various types of cancer, including:

Breast cancer

Lung cancer (non-small cell)

Ovarian cancer

Kaposi's sarcoma

Prostate cancer

Head and neck cancer

Other solid tumors.

Gros 30mg Inj 5ml (Paclitaxel) works by interfering with the process of cell division, specifically by inhibiting the formation of microtubules, which are essential for cell growth and replication. This disruption leads to the death of cancer cells.

Store Paclitaxel at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it into a drain unless instructed by your healthcare provider.

The dosage of Paclitaxel will vary depending on the type and stage of cancer being treated, as well as your overall health.

It is typically administered intravenously (IV) as an infusion over a period of time, usually 30 to 90 minutes.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

Paclitaxel can cause fatigue and dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Paclitaxel is known to be harmful to a developing fetus. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not recommended for use while breastfeeding, as it can be passed to the infant through breast milk.



Children
