Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to control blood glucose levels.
Glybovin 1.25mg Tab (Glibenclamide) stimulates the release of insulin from the beta cells of the pancreas. It does this by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels in the beta-cell membrane, leading to depolarization and subsequent calcium influx, triggering insulin secretion.
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.
Typically started at a low dose and gradually increased until blood glucose is adequately controlled.
Administered orally, usually once or twice daily with meals.
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): symptoms include sweating, trembling, dizziness, confusion, and rapid heartbeat.
Weight gain.
Nausea.
Vomiting.
Diarrhea.
Allergic reactions (rash, itching, hives).
Blood disorders (rare).
Alcohol can increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Consumption should be discussed with a physician.
Patients should avoid driving or operating machinery if they experience hypoglycemia.
Generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Physician consultation is essential.
Not recommended for use in children.
