Glimepiride

Metformin

Pioglitazone

A thiazolidinedione medication that helps your body respond better to insulin.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels).

This combination medication works by improving your body's response to insulin. Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin, metformin increases insulin sensitivity, and pioglitazone enhances insulin action in tissues.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is individualized based on your blood sugar levels and response to treatment.

Typically taken once daily with a meal.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood sugar. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Be cautious when driving or operating machinery as low blood sugar can cause dizziness or drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women. Consult your doctor about breastfeeding while taking this medication.



Children

This medication is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

This medication may be adjusted for patients with kidney problems. Consult your doctor.



Liver

This medication can cause liver problems. Inform your doctor if you have any liver problems or are taking other medications that may affect your liver.
