This combination medication works by helping your body use insulin more effectively and by lowering the amount of glucose produced by your liver. Glimepiride stimulates your pancreas to produce more insulin, metformin reduces glucose production by your liver, and voglibose slows down the absorption of carbohydrates from your gut.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children.



Kidney
