Ondansetron

An antiemetic medication that helps prevent and treat nausea and vomiting.

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including erosive esophagitis.

Prevention of stress ulcers in critically ill patients.

Treatment of symptoms associated with Helicobacter pylori infection, when used in combination with antibiotics.

Prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.

The dosage of Pantoprazole + Ondansetron will vary depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs.

It is usually taken once a day, before a meal.

Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.

Do not crush or chew the tablets.

Increased risk of bone fractures (long-term use)

Low levels of magnesium in the blood (long-term use)

Headache

Diarrhea

Constipation

Abdominal pain

Dizziness

Fatigue

Muscle weakness

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects, especially stomach irritation. Consult your doctor for advice.



Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks.



Children

This medication is not generally recommended for children.
