Alcohol can increase the risk of drowsiness and other side effects. Avoid alcohol while taking prochlorperazine.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Prochlorperazine can cause drowsiness and dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Prochlorperazine can harm a developing baby. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It can also pass into breast milk and may harm a breastfeeding baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking prochlorperazine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Prochlorperazine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.



Kidney

Prochlorperazine may be used with caution in patients with kidney problems. Your doctor may adjust your dosage.



Liver

Prochlorperazine may be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Your doctor may adjust your dosage.
