Dapagliflozin

A sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (sglt2) inhibitor that helps your kidneys remove excess sugar from your blood into your urine.

Glimepiride

A sulfonylurea that stimulates your pancreas to release more insulin.

Metformin

A biguanide that helps your body use insulin more effectively and decreases the amount of sugar your liver produces.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults who have not achieved adequate glycemic control with metformin alone or with a combination of metformin and either dapagliflozin or glimepiride.

This triple combination medication works through three different pathways to lower blood sugar levels. Dapagliflozin increases glucose excretion in the urine. Glimepiride stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreas. Metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production.

Store at room temperature (below 30°C), protect from moisture, and keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms include shakiness, sweating, dizziness, and confusion.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis. Limit alcohol intake while taking this medication.

Hypoglycemia can impair judgment and reaction time. Avoid driving or operating machinery if experiencing symptoms of low blood sugar.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

This medication is not typically used in children.



Kidney
