Is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation.
Is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights bacteria.
Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) in adults and children 1 year of age and older.
Difluprednate reduces inflammation by suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators. Gatifloxacin kills bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of DNA, a key component of bacterial cells.
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F). Protect from light.
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) four times a day for the first two days.
Then, instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) two times a day for the remaining treatment period.
