Domperidone

A prokinetic agent that stimulates gut motility.

Omeprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that reduces stomach acid production.

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms, such as heartburn and acid reflux, in conjunction with symptoms of delayed gastric emptying.

Relief of nausea and vomiting associated with delayed gastric emptying.

Domperidone increases the contractions of the stomach and intestines, accelerating the movement of food through the digestive tract. Omeprazole reduces stomach acid production by inhibiting the proton pump in the parietal cells of the stomach lining, thereby relieving heartburn and acid reflux symptoms.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Always follow the prescribed dosage and administration instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take the medication as directed, usually once or twice daily with or without food.

Rare but serious side effects: irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation), neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS).

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it can exacerbate gastrointestinal issues and potentially interact with the medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. Domperidone may pass into breast milk.



Children

Use in children should be under strict medical supervision and only prescribed when the benefits outweigh the risks.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be needed for patients with kidney impairment.



Liver

Dosage adjustment may be needed for patients with liver impairment.
