Cefixime

A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacteria.

Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to cefixime (e.g., ear infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections).

Prevention or reduction of antibioticassociated diarrhea (AAD) caused by cefixime.

Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Lactobacillus helps restore the balance of gut flora, reducing the risk of diarrhea and potentially enhancing the efficacy of cefixime by supporting gut health.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused portion after the expiry date.

Dosage should be prescribed by a doctor and will vary depending on the patient's age, weight, and the severity of the infection.

Complete the full course of antibiotics even if symptoms improve to prevent recurrence of infection.
