Gabapent Nt Tab (Gabapentin + Nortriptyline) work by different mechanisms: Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that reduces nerve cell excitability. It works by attaching to specific receptors in the brain that are involved in the transmission of pain signals. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) that works by increasing levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters are involved in mood regulation and pain perception.
