Beclometasone

Dipropionate a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Formoterol

Fumarate dihydrate a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.

Treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 6 years and above.

Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults.

This medication works by reducing inflammation in the airways and relaxing the muscles around the airways, making it easier to breathe. Beclometasone dipropionate reduces inflammation by suppressing the release of substances that cause inflammation, while formoterol fumarate dihydrate opens up the airways by relaxing the muscles.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the label.

The dosage of this medication will vary depending on your individual needs and the severity of your condition. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

This medication is usually inhaled using a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) or a dry powder inhaler (DPI).

Do not use more than the prescribed dosage.

Common side effects include: headache, sore throat, dry mouth, cough, fungal infection in the mouth (thrush)

Serious side effects are rare but may include: slow growth in children, cataracts, glaucoma, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, weakening of the bones, adrenal suppression.

Less common side effects include: muscle pain, tremor, dizziness, heart palpitations, bruising easily

While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor for advice.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
