Forstavir L 30s Tab (Lamivudine + Tenofovir) are nucleoside analogs that inhibit the activity of the viral enzyme reverse transcriptase, which is essential for the replication of HIV and hepatitis B virus (HBV). By blocking reverse transcriptase, these drugs prevent the virus from replicating and spreading.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it into the drain unless instructed to do so by your doctor.

The dosage of lamivudine and tenofovir will depend on the condition being treated and the individual patient's needs.

It is typically taken once daily with or without food.

It is important to take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not skip doses or stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of liver damage. It's best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication can harm an unborn baby. Consult your doctor about the risks and benefits before taking this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

The dosage of lamivudine and tenofovir may need to be adjusted for children based on their age and weight.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems may require a lower dosage of lamivudine and tenofovir. Monitor kidney function regularly while taking this medication.



Liver

Patients with liver problems may require a lower dosage of lamivudine and tenofovir. Monitor liver function regularly while taking this medication.
