Budesonide

A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Formoterol

A long-acting beta2-agonist (laba) that relaxes the muscles around the airways, opening them up.

Glycopyrrolate

A long-acting muscarinic antagonist (lama) that also relaxes the muscles around the airways, providing additional bronchodilation.

This triple combination therapy works synergistically. Budesonide reduces airway inflammation, while formoterol and glycopyrrolate provide bronchodilation – relaxing the airway muscles to improve airflow. The combined effect leads to better symptom control and reduced exacerbations compared to using each medication individually.
