Flupentixol acts primarily as a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, reducing dopaminergic activity in the brain, thereby alleviating psychotic symptoms. Melitracen exhibits both antidepressant and antipsychotic effects through modulation of serotonergic and noradrenergic neurotransmission, enhancing the therapeutic effects of flupentixol.

Kidney
