Flumet Soap 75gm (Fluconazole) is an antifungal medication that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi. It targets a specific enzyme (CYP450) that is essential for the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. By blocking ergosterol synthesis, fluconazole weakens the fungal cell wall, ultimately leading to the death of the fungus.

Store Fluconazole at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of fluconazole varies depending on the type and severity of the fungal infection being treated. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Fluconazole is typically taken orally, either as a single dose or over a period of time.

The tablets or capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Fluconazole can pass into breast milk and may harm a developing baby. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Fluconazole is not recommended for children under 18 years of age unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.



Kidney

If you have kidney problems, you may need a lower dose of fluconazole or more frequent monitoring.
